Capt. Prince Kofi Amoabeng (Rtd) Inspires a Culture of Excellence at UTRAK's Mid-Year Strategic Session
From 10th to 12th July 2025, UTRAK Savings and Loans held its Mid-Year Strategic Session in Accra, bringing together senior management, branch managers, and the MD/CEO, Madam Nana Akosua Akyea Bediako, for three days of reflection, alignment, and forward planning.
A key highlight of the session was the presence of Capt. Prince Kofi Amoabeng (Rtd), renowned entrepreneur and founder of the defunct UT Bank, who served as Guest of Honour. He delivered a compelling address on building and engineering a positive organizational culture, drawing from his wealth of experience in banking, leadership, and institution-building.
Capt. Amoabeng spoke candidly about his motivations, values, and the lessons learned throughout his journey with UT Bank. He emphasized integrity, discipline, trust, and a people-first culture as the building blocks of a resilient and high-performing institution.
“I believed in creating an environment where people felt respected and trusted. That’s how you build loyalty—internally and externally,” he shared, urging UTRAK’s leadership to remain mission-driven and customer-focused.
His insights and reflections deeply resonated with participants and reinforced UTRAK’s commitment to excellence, agility, and sustainable growth. The session set a renewed tone for the second half of the year, as UTRAK continues to strengthen its operations and impact in Ghana’s financial sector.
